It's been a while since I last posted and a lot has changed!

Since my last post we did receive our contracts. We signed them and they were turned in to the Japanese government for our official paperwork (I honestly don't know how it all works but I know it eventually leads to a visa). We meet with the principals son Friday afternoon to receive documents to take to the Japanese consulate to get documents for a visa (or maybe the visa itself). Mike is doing all of the paperwork.

We have packed, sold, or stored almost all of our things in our apartment. We will be there until the end of the month, then we will move in with my parents until we leave for Okinawa. It was easier than I thought it would be to get rid of a lot of our things. We made around $200 at the garage sale.

I haven't felt nervous yet. I think now I am more excited than anything else. I got to meet about 1/2 of my class on Skype a few weeks ago. That was interesting. We aren't sure where we are staying yet because we may get to move into a larger apartment depending on whether or not it is still available. We also still have not learned much Japanese either with all of the traveling, packing, and visiting we have been doing lately.

I know this is definitely what God wants of us because otherwise I would be a wreck right now! I'm keeping my cool and have felt peaceful about the move throughout this process. It will be hard moving away from family and all that we know but I know we will be doing what God has planned for us...that's all that matters to me.
